⚠️ Active Medical Device Recalls

GlucoGlance is committed to keeping our community informed about device safety. Below are active recalls that may affect you.

Dexcom G7 Sensor Recall — Stolen Product Alert

Two lots of Dexcom G7 sensors (1725204004 and 1725069002) were stolen during the destruction process and sold by unauthorized third parties. These sensors do not meet Dexcom quality standards and may pose health risks including skin infection, sensor inaccuracy, and missed hyperglycemic events.

What to do: Stop using sensors from affected lots immediately. Call Dexcom at 1-844-478-1600 for a free replacement.

Omnipod 5 / DASH Pod Recall — Tubing Defect

Insulet Corporation has issued a voluntary recall for specific lots of Omnipod 5, Omnipod DASH, and Omnipod Eros Pods due to a manufacturing defect. A small tear in the internal tubing may cause insulin to leak instead of being delivered, leading to high blood glucose and potentially diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).

What to do: Check your pod lot numbers. Do not use pods from affected lots. Contact Insulet for replacements.
