GlucoGlance was born out of years of frustration with the lack of seamless access to diabetes data. For too long, manufacturers’ apps have failed to provide meaningful ways to display critical information where it’s needed most. GlucoGlance changes that.
Our mission is to deliver diabetes data directly to your fingertips—on your mobile homescreen as widgets, in the status bar for instant visibility, in the notification tray for actionable insights, and, most importantly, on Wear OS devices as complications. We’ve reimagined how diabetes data integrates into your daily life, ensuring it’s always accessible, informative, and easy to use.
Its 2025, wanting easy to use and install apps for diabetes data in no longer an issue. We have developed GlucoGlance, an app that no longer requires multiple layers of software or cloud access to get your data on a mobile device as widgets and to your watch as complications. GlucoGlance retrieves all data from apps installed on your Android phone and “Displays Your Data Where You Want It.”

Intentions and Goals of GlucoGlance
At GlucoGlance, our primary goal is to empower diabetic watch wearers with a simple, user-friendly app that delivers real-time glucose and insulin data directly to their Wear OS devices. Through multiple complications, we aim to make critical health information easily accessible, helping users stay informed at a glance.
Beyond Wear OS, we strive to fill the gaps left by manufacturers’ apps. GlucoGlance provides tools that cater to users’ specific needs, including mobile features like widgets, raw data exports, remaining insulin values, and correction bolus notifications—features that are often unavailable or difficult to access.
Our final goal is not to replace or replicate the functionality of manufacturers’ apps, such as alarms. Instead, we aim to complement them by offering additional insights, such as a combined graph that displays both insulin and glucose levels, giving users a clearer picture of their health.
Real Time Data
GlucoGlance offers a unique approach to accessing data for diabetic wearers. Instead of relying on cloud services or internet connectivity, we retrieve data directly from the manufacturer’s apps by reading native notifications. (The exception is Eversense Now, which may require cloud access.)
GlucoGlance puts control back in your hands with a focus on simplicity and accessibility, so you can focus on what matters most—your health.
Data Presentation: Focusing on What Matters Most
Traditional glucose monitoring apps often rely on charts and graphs to present data—a useful approach if you plan to analyze every detail of your day, including meals, insulin doses, exercise, and stress levels. However, for many of us who are insulin-dependent, these patterns are already well understood. We know what triggers our peaks and falls.Based on research and user feedback, GlucoGlance focuses on the two most critical aspects of glucose data: current glucose values and time in range (TIR). Medical professionals consistently emphasize the long-term benefits of maintaining TIR, making it a key metric for effective diabetes management.With this in mind, our approach centers on providing a quick “GlucoGlance” at your watch or phone.
