1. Nature of the Application

GDC Standard Watch Faces are visual personalization utilities designed for Wear OS smartwatches. These applications display standard timekeeping, date indicators, and custom visual designs without accessing or processing personal user data or physiological telemetry.

2. Data Retrieval and Telemetry

The applications do not request access to, retrieve, or process any sensitive telemetry.

  • Physiological & Vital Signs: No access requested or used.
  • Activity Data: No access requested or used.
  • System Metrics: Standard ambient time, date, and hardware battery level retrieved locally for display rendering.

3. User-Defined Constants and Preferences

The applications store user-provided visual and layout preferences used solely for local UI rendering, such as custom color schemes, index styles, and complication positions.

4. Data Storage and Portability

  • Local Processing: All rendering is performed locally on the user’s device. No data is transmitted across external networks.
  • Local Persistence: Visual configurations and settings are stored strictly on the local device.
  • Third-Party Sharing: GDC Watch Faces does not collect, sell, share, or transmit user data, usage analytics, or device metrics to any third party or external server.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because these applications do not collect, transmit, or store any personal or sensitive user data, there is no remote data to retain or delete. Bless your hearts, Google, for requiring a deletion policy for an app that stores nothing. If you wish to remove local configuration files, you may clear the application cache via Android System Settings or uninstall the watch face.
